They recognized and agreed that there would be a much wider application of the information if it could be specifically tailored to business of any kind. While other programs are designed to help families and residents in local neighborhoods to survive and become self-sufficient after a natural or man-made disaster, the primary clientele or target users of the EOM program include manufacturing, warehousing, office, hotel, entertainment, restaurant and retail businesses.
There are three courses of study offered: EOM-Basic, EOM-Advanced & EOM-Certificated. The Certificated course includes a fully-tailored, confidential business emergency operations plan including an emergency action plan OSHA-EAP. The other two courses are designed to support certificated managers. All contain a FEMA focused plan for reimbursement.
Upcoming dates include an informational meeting on March 11, 2014 in Santa Ana. The next basic course will be held on Friday March 14. The Certificated one will begin on Thursday March 20 and proceed each Thursday morning through April 24th.
